People Ops Intern

About this role…

We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in organised chaos, learns fast, and loves making things work better. As a People Operations Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role across the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding and payroll support to data accuracy and process improvements.

Please note that this is a part-time internship requiring a commitment of approximately 15–20 hours per week.

In this job, you’ll…

• Own and streamline key people processes (onboarding, contracts, payroll input, benefits, offboarding)

• Keep our HR systems up to date and support reporting on people metrics

• Help roll out and improve policies and procedures

• Support employee queries with confidence and clarity

• Get stuck into people-focused projects and general admin

We’re looking for…

• Operationally-minded and highly organised

• A quick learner who’s proactive and resourceful

• Detail-obsessed but able to see the bigger picture

• Comfortable working independently and figuring things out

• Interested in HR, people operations, and building great employee experiences

📍 Ideally studying HR, business, psychology, law or similar
🛠 Bonus if you’ve worked in HR or used tools like BambooHR, Culture Amp, or Google Suite
