What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and people-focused People Operations Specialist to support our growing EMEA team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in delivering a smooth and welcoming employee experience across the entire lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—with a particular focus on running new hire orientation sessions tailored for EMEA time zones. You’ll ensure the operational backbone of our People function is running efficiently and with heart.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Coordinate and execute all core People Ops processes across the EMEA region, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Own and facilitate new hire orientation sessions for EMEA-based employees, ensuring a consistent and engaging Day 1 experience that reflects our company culture.
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for employee questions related to policies, tools, benefits, and People programs.
  • Coordinate country-specific leave policies (e.g., parental leave, sick leave, statutory holidays) and support questions around entitlements or local practices.
  • Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob, or Workday), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Partner with IT and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding setup process (accounts, equipment, access).
  • Assist with the administration and logistics of People programs (e.g., engagement surveys, performance reviews, learning & development).
  • Coordinate internal communications related to People Ops processes, policy updates, and calendar-based HR events.
  • Support compliance with local labor laws and regulations across multiple EMEA countries, escalating when needed.
  • Help document and improve People Ops processes as we scale, contributing to internal SOPs and knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and regional leadership to ensure smooth people operations.
What really gets us excited about you:
  • 5-8 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, or a similar employee-facing role, ideally in a distributed or international company.
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple EMEA countries and a basic understanding of regional employment practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional EMEA languages are a plus).
  • Highly organized and process-driven with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable presenting and facilitating group sessions like orientation or training.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob, Greenhouse, Notion, Slack, etc.).
  • Naturally collaborative, discreet, and empathetic—you’re someone employees feel comfortable coming to.
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Passionate about building a great employee experience and making People Ops more human and efficient.
  • Some travel is required.

Salaries for this role vary by country and the ranges are as follows: Portugal: EUR 32-37k Bulgaria: BGV 50-55k India: LPA .75 - 1.3 This role will have a probationary period prior to an opportunity to convert to full time. The probationary period per country is as follows: Portugal - 90 days, Bulgaria - 6 months, India - 1 year.

What Do We Offer?

Interesting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters. This is NOT your boring, routine, cushy, rest-and-vest corporate job. This is the “challenge yourself” role where you learn something new every day, never stop growing, and have fun while you’re doing it.

Tribe Vibe | We are more than colleagues, we are a tribe. We have a strict “no a**hole policy” and enforce it diligently. This means we spend time together - with spontaneous office happy hours, organized outings, and community volunteer opportunities. We are a diverse and distributed team, but we like to stay connected.

Bragging Rights | We are dreamers and dream makers. Our efforts pay off and we work with the most prestigious brands, from big-name retailers to airlines, to professional sports teams. Your contribution will make an impact with many of the most recognizable names in almost every industry including AirFrance KLM, ASICS, Burberry, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Walmart, and many more!

One Team One Dream | This is one of our values, and it shows. We don’t believe in artificial hierarchies. If you’re part of the tribe, you have an opportunity to contribute. Your voice will be heard and you will also receive regular updates about the business and its performance. Which, btw, is through the roof, so it’s a great time to be joining…
