How We Work

Our hybrid work model (3 days in the office) gives us the face-to-face time to have creative conversations, meaningful meetings, make quick decisions, and build relationships. At the same time, it offers flexibility you need to focus and do your best work. Office is located in Dublin 15.

Mission and Goals

We are looking for an experienced Chargeback and Fraud Operations Manager with a proven background in online fraud and payment handling to lead the Payments & Risk Operations team at Gen Digital. This role is essential for ensuring that fraud is mitigated, payments are processed smoothly, and risk management practices align with the company's objectives.

  • Short-term goals: Lead and develop the team, ensure fraud prevention mechanisms are effective, manage payment escalations, and streamline fraud reporting.

  • Long-term goals: Strengthen operational processes, build a sustainable fraud management framework, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the company’s risk posture is robust.

Objectives

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of 5, providing guidance and training on fraud prevention techniques and risk management.

  • Ensure operational efficiency by managing SLAs and KPIs related to fraud and payment activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address fraud prevention, payment escalations, and risk management processes.

  • Create and deliver detailed risk reports to various levels of management, supporting decision-making and risk mitigation efforts.

  • Improve processes for assessing and managing risks, including incident reporting and prioritizing issues.

  • Design, implement, and test fraud prevention controls across payment systems and operations.

Competencies

  • Experience: 7+ years in operational risk management, fraud prevention, or payment handling, ideally within e-commerce or financial services.

  • Fraud Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of fraud detection tools and methods, including transactional fraud, chargebacks, and reseller abuse.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and improve processes.
