Job Title

Payment Solutions Product Manager

What does a successful Payments Product Manager do? A successful Payments Product Manager at Fiserv shapes and delivers payment solutions that let our clients meet their customers where they are, so people can focus on life—not payments. You will blend market insight, technical understanding and operational excellence to launch secure, compliant and user-friendly card-present and card-not-present products. You will collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure exceptional merchant and client outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for card-present and card-not-present payment solutions and related services.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity to identify product opportunities and risks.
  • Lead end-to-end operational readiness for product launches and enhancements, ensuring processes, playbooks and SLAs are in place.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Client Experience and external vendors to align requirements, training and support models.
  • Ensure regulatory and scheme compliance, partnering with Compliance and Risk to manage audits and certifications.
  • Monitor product performance and operational KPIs, and drive optimisation initiatives to improve transaction success and merchant experience.
  • Communicate product updates, operational impacts and launch status to stakeholders across the business and with external partners.

What you will need to have:

  • Deep knowledge of payments, acquiring and merchant services, with practical understanding of card-present and card-not-present flows.
  • Technical familiarity with POS architecture, payment gateways, terminal management systems, EMV and contactless technologies.
  • Proven capability in operational readiness, including process design, incident management and service delivery frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and convert insights into measurable product and operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong organisational and project management capability.

What would be great to have:

  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
  • Awareness of PCI DSS controls and payment scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Irish and EU payment regulations and compliance expectations.
  • Experience working with third‑party terminal providers and integration with merchant systems.
  • Practical knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, BI platforms) to support performance monitoring.
