AMBOSS is a learning and clinical decision support tool striving to empower physicians across the globe to provide the best possible care. Our founders set out in 2011 to create a tool that they would have hoped to have as medical students and doctors. Since then we have grown to currently operate in 180 countries and have gained immense traction in Germany and the US. Currently, we are pursuing this mission with more than 500+ employees in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari.

As part of our Europe team, you'll use your medical expertise to revolutionize medical education and clinical practice in the region. You’ll collaborate closely with the Market Lead, Europe team members, and stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Editorial, and R&D so you'll play a key role in AMBOSS's growth in Europe. This position involves market development, executing marketing initiatives, managing key partnerships, and driving revenue-focused strategies (B2C and early-funnel B2B acquisition), providing opportunities to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit.
Your contributions will directly support our mission to enable medical student in Europe with the best medical knowledge for delivering exceptional care. Most importantly, you’ll see your impact firsthand—one medical student and one doctor at a time.
This position is full time (40 hours/week), and remote from any of the above European countries.
You will:
- Develop a profound understanding of medical students and physicians in Europe and strive to expand AMBOSS’s presence at European medical schools
- Build strong relationships with medical universities across Europe and lead conference presentations, webinars, and in-person meetings in the region
- Manage our AMBOSSadors and key student contacts at the universities, and collaborate with key opinion leaders, student and medical societies
- Design and implement strategic outbound marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Monitor country-specific performance metrics for all channels and plan quarterly reviews
- If relevant, create and manage content material to help tailor us to the market (e.g. country-specific study guides and plans)
You bring:
- You have a licensed medical degree from the European region
- You are business fluent in English and ideally, you speak the local language of the region
- Prior experience in communication, project management, or working with NGOs (e.g. student organizations)
- Willingness to travel (40%) and to attend conferences with a high level of autonomy
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and implement structure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Prior work or academic experience in tech, business development, consulting, sales, or marketing is a plus
