About the role:
The Gen Digital Paid Search team is seeking a skilled and passionate Paid Search Specialist to join our dynamic and growing global team. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to manage and scale Gen Digital’s Antivirus Brands within the paid search program.
We’re looking for a data-driven marketer with a strong background in managing large-scale paid search campaigns across major platforms. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of SEM best practices, campaign optimization, and online customer acquisition. You should be enthusiastic about performance marketing, eager to make an impact, and excited to grow with our expanding business.
Objectives:
Execute and optimize SEM campaigns in a hands-on capacity across major platforms, including Search Ads 360, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads.
Monitor performance against key KPIs—including Cost, ROAS, CVR, and revenue—and optimize accordingly to meet campaign goals.
Leverage analytical tools and performance metrics to guide decision-making, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues.
Analyze performance using tools like Looker Studio, PowerBI and Adobe Analytics.
Collaborate with senior staff to create strategic recommendations, contributing to the overall digital marketing strategy.
Conduct competitive analysis and adjust strategies accordingly.
Incorporate current SEM trends and industry best practices into ongoing campaign strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes.
Soft skills:
This position will require strong problem solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities may expand based on demand or new projects and candidate would possess flexibility to absorb new tasks/roles with ease.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of key online marketing metrics.
Competencies:
Hands-on SEM Campaign Management (experience managing paid search campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads & SA360, ideally with some exposure to eCommerce)
Basic Performance Marketing Know-How (understands how to optimize for key metrics like conversions and cost-per-acquisition)
Testing and Optimization (A/B tests to improve ads or landing pages, and can interpret basic test results)
Comfort with Data Tools (familiar with tools like Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Adobe Analytics to check campaign performance and pull insights)
Spreadsheet Skills (Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., filters, Pivot Tables, simple formulas like VLOOKUP or IF).
Problem Solving & Proactivity
Ability to explain ideas and data in a simple, straightforward way—both in writing and in meetings.
Genuine Interest in Digital Marketing (digital channels, tools & techniques)
