Responsibilities :

JOB PURPOSE/MISSION/SUMMARY:

              

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for managing and administering customer contracts from signing through initial invoicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role involves interpreting complex contract terms, coordinating across multiple departments, and maintaining documentation standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze customer contracts for compliance with legal, financial, and pricing policies.
  • Draft new contracts and amendments, ensuring accurate translation of terms into operational instructions.
  • Coordinate contract setup and implementation with Sales, Pricing, Order Entry, Customer Administration, and Operations teams.
  • Accurately enter equipment and service orders into internal systems; resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain contract documentation in internal repositories (e.g., DocuShare) to meet audit requirements.
  • Provide guidance to Contract Administrators and support order entry processes for negotiated contracts.
  • Monitor and maintain reporting tools (e.g., OTT reports) for operational accuracy and visibility.
  • Uphold internal controls and revenue recognition guidelines throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key Deliverables:

  • Accurate and timely contract setup and order processing.
  • Compliance with audit and documentation standards.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operational reporting and data analysis to support process improvements.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in contract administration, order processing, or billing preferred.
  • Certifications: Not applicable.
