Job Title: Oracle Functional Analyst

Job Description:

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s goals of improving data integration, customer service, and financial operations within Oracle Cloud and related business process.

The Oracle Functional Analyst will be responsible for designing, supporting implementation and maintaining system changes for Oracle Cloud ERP.  The analyst will work closely with the business team to identify areas of improvement and drive end to end solutions needed to support the business growth and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform And Process Optimization – 50%

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to maximize system functionality, streamline business processes, create efficiencies, and facilitate automation.
  • Support and lead new and existing users in the implementation of Supply Chain and financial enhancements, providing project management services as individual contributor, team member or leader depending on the scope of the change.
  • Provides expertise in Oracle Cloud software functionality, identifying system solutions to business issues and requests.

System enhancements and deployment – 50%

  • Works closely and liaises with Galderma IT teams supporting integrations (middleware) and other applications such as CRM and other ERPs to support Oracle Cloud system solutions
  • Support users in identification of test cases and building robust testing and deployment plans.  Areas of expertise include fit/gap analysis; planning, design and configuration; testing, training and support. 
  • Leads implementation or enhancements for business solutions by coordinating with development and governance teams to document functional specifications, assist with configuration, conduct testing, provide training, write documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Work closely with Galderma IT teams to support compliance and governance for all changes. Works with Galderma IT technical support teams for daily operations of Oracle business systems, includes issue research and resolution, change management and escalation to the technical team or Oracle when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or similar
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience in Oracle ERP with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, across multi functions and business processes including Supply Chain functions
  • Must have both Oracle order management and Supply Chain experience
  • Mission-oriented with ownership mindset and leadership capabilities to drive incident management and resolution
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, commitment to execution in a rapidly changing and evolving environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with and influence peers and leaders, as well as ability to establish new relationships quickly
  • Collaborative, yet able to operate independently; self-motivated/driven yet able to lead and influence in a matrixed environment
  • Provides the function of bridging the understanding and perspective gap between users and technical teams. Uses communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills combined with technical and domain knowledge to identify solutions for business requests
