Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed in all areas of the location. Highlight any gaps or areas for improvement or focus at the location and provide innovative and effective solutions.

  • Maintain a presentable and well-organised station, ensuring all facilities and equipment are in excellent condition.

  • Lead day-to-day operations and be the go-to person for resolving operational issues and making quick decisions on all aspects of the business including ensuring a smooth pick up and return shuttle bus service.

  • Ensure strict compliance for vehicle and key security and lost property by ensuring reports are completed by weekly deadlines and any anomalies resolved promptly

  • Respond to stock anomalies and unauthorised removal of telematics devices and address them promptly.

  • Manage fleet cars/vans, upgrades, and space planning particularly during evening and weekend shifts.

  • Protect the business against risk by ensuring all processes regarding insurance and terms and conditions are followed by staff.

  • Monitor and drive customer satisfaction (NPS scores) by ensuring all staff uphold customer service standards.

  • Manage daily operations for Sharebox & D2C requirements by ensuring all bookings are met within lead times and be point of contact for queries and requests.

  • Be present at the customer facing areas and lead by example in creating and upholding and maintaining company standards for service levels

  • Address customer queries/complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring positive resolutions and clear communication on outcomes. Provide customers with regular updates and close their complaints.

  • Oversee and account for day to day activities of the operations assistants working in the location including but not limited to management of tax discs, idle vehicles, fleet checks and key control. 

  • Conduct regular planned and unplanned audits in various departments to ensure compliance with group audit requirements.

  • Work with the fleet and logistics manager to ensure optimal vehicle availability including vans especially for evenings and weekends and peak times including accounting for and recording booking volumes for the coming week and highlighting any potential affects on resources/customer journey and space availability.

  • Proactively identify and address any operational challenges or areas for improvement.

  • Supervise the activities of customer facing and operational staff to ensure productivity and address any performance issues and conduct 1:1 meetings when required.

  • Assist in managing and recording staff absence coverage and return to work interviews and 1:1 meetings. Overlooking daily plan and highlight any potential issues. 

  • Provide support to the Airport Manager in the execution of various ad hoc duties and special projects as needed, ensuring efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking with a focus on improving operational performance.

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with reporting tools like Qlikview.

  • Full Category B driving licence for at least 2 years.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
