What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): 

  • Build out and manage  the Global Business/Operational Resiliency 2LOD team.
  • Partner with 1LOD owners to build out the Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) for each critical user journey.
  • Develop Business Continuity Plans and plan exercises for US entities.
  • Partner with non US entities leaders to Develop Business Continuity Plans and plan exercises for the non US entities.
  • Partner with EU entity leads to ensure we continue to be DORA compliant.
  • Define and monitor KRIs related to Operational Resiliency.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): 

  • 2+ years in development and management of operational resiliency oversight for large companies, including policies and procedures development and monitoring day-to-day activities.
  • 2+ years building out, or managing a team.
  • Good understanding of how the various functions of a regulated financial services business operate (e.g. Compliance, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Audit, Outsourcing).
  • Process orientated.
  • Clear verbal and written communicator.
  • Ability to have impact and influence with senior, peer & junior colleagues both regionally and globally.
  • Proven judgment to assess risk impact & address or escalate accordingly.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, often fluid environment with strong prioritization skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with regulators.

Nice to haves:

  • Previous experience with Fusion Framework or other BCM software.
  • Passion for resiliency.
  • Previous experience working in a multinational / US-headquartered business.
  • Experience with retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage platforms.
  • Previous work experience or personal interest in crypto/blockchain space.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range:

€124.000€124.000 EUR
