Key Responsibilities:
  • Using business intelligence tools to identify performance opportunities and working with Ops management on continuous improvement across our profitability metrics.

  • Preparing our network with a pre defined Health and Safety template to ensure optimum performance in Group H&S audit visits to stations.

  • Preparation and hosting of weekly network Branch Operations Standards call, reviewing weekly performance and progress toward goals.

  • Meeting with Regional Managers to outline network progress on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Conducting quarterly branch standards audits with the audit team, involving physical visits to branches.

  • Creating and delivering audit results and feedback to Station Managers.

  • Analyzing station performance results and progress, with special attention to creating and executing improvement plans.

  • Assisting in the automation of existing applicable manual reports in conjunction with the Business Analysis Manager.

  • Maintaining and improving the network fuel submissions and pricing report.

  • Leading month-end operation network submissions and reporting, liaising with stations to efficiently complete all monthly tasks by the deadline and reporting on progress.

  • Working with the Regional Management team on budget preparation across revenue and costs and maintaining these reports.

  • Organizing and maintaining the weekly network forecasting and resource tool.

  • Project involvement with the Operations Team on Group initiatives.

  • Supporting new staff training, ensuring successful enrolment and completion of the online training platform.

  • Occasional branch staffing support when required.

  • Ad hoc reporting as required by the Operations Director.

  • Providing Agent affiliate support and training.


Skills Required: 
  • Excellent data and analytical skills (Experience in report creation and automation an advantage).

  • Experience in Qliksense and Rentway an advantage

  • Experience and certification in Lean Six Sigma process provement an advantage

  • Ability to use Sales reporting tools and produce bespoke reports in Google Sheets and Slides.

  • A working knowledge of Rentway & QlikView would be a distinct advantage.

  • Experience in motivating, engaging, and leading people with no direct line management authority.

  • Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good planning and organisational skills.

  • Experience in leading or supporting key projects, planning & implementing a business strategy.

  • Strong operational skills and experience.

  • Understanding of P&L management.

  • Cross-functional department working and being part of a high-performing team.

  • Ability to identify operational areas of opportunity and implement improvement plans.
