What you will find

As a Technical Program Manager you will become part of our AI Team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in programme management, a solid understanding of software development and AI, and experience in leading cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver complex projects
  • Experience in change management practices, and in particular the candidate should have successfully rolled out and ensured the adoption of software development processes and tooling across technical teams.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning: develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget considerations. Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate diverse teams of developers, engineers, and other technical personnel towards common goals.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve the project goals – this could include for example collaborating with DevOps, security, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration of AI tools into CI/CD pipelines and IDEs
  • Change management:
    • Collaborate with our Learning & Development team as well as external partners to build and scale engaging enablement content, run workshops, and provide documentation on AI tools.
    • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses
    • Define and track adoption KPIs, usage patterns, and feedback loops to evaluate success and identify gaps
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to manage potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Regularly communicate project status, progress, and any changes to all relevant parties.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance future project performance.

Essential requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering change management projects across technical teams in a complex organisation such as large-scale developer enablement or tool rollouts
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong understanding of AI and what in can do when applied to the internal processes of a software development company including but not limited to software developments itself
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
  • Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders in a complex organisation.

The profile is completed by:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Additional languages at a proficient level: German, Italian, French.
  • Awareness of AI governance, responsible AI innovation and ethics
