About the role and the team:
We are seeking a dedicated Italian Onboarding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for our new employees or clients, ensuring a smooth transition and positive initial experience within our organization. Fluency in Italian and an understanding of Italian cultural nuances are essential for this role.
What you will accomplish:
- Oversee the entire onboarding process for Italian sellers, including orientation sessions, development, and distribution of tailored onboarding materials, and coordination of training sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all queries from new Italian sellers during the onboarding phase, ensuring seamless integration into the platform.
- Collaborate with Business Units, Team Leaders, and other relevant departments to meet all onboarding requirements efficiently.
- Continuously improve the onboarding process based on feedback from stakeholders and direct management to enhance future experiences.
- Develop operational and commercial relationships with SMB accounts, setting clear onboarding goals and supporting them to achieve successful integration into eBay’s Start-Up Scale-Up program.
- Coach new sellers on best practices for scaling efficiently on eBay and educate them on adopting eBay’s suite of marketing and promotional tools.
- Report sales activities and progress with onboarded accounts into the eBay CRM system and assist accounts with integrating their stock management systems with eBay
What you will bring:
- Proficiency in both Italian and English required
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Proficient in negotiation skills to source critical inventory to ensure seller success on the platform
- A confident self-starter and excellently organised, with great communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to operate with agility and to navigate change
- Consistently achieving results, even under difficult circumstances with a drive to draw actionable insights from data analysis
- Able to build rapport and convert sellers to action effectively
- Strong experience within a client relationship management environment
- Previous experience in an onboarding and growth role, ideally in an online retail environment preferred but not required
- 1 year experience in Commercial role preferred
- Category or vertical specific experience a distinct advantage
