 The Field Enablement team at Cloudera provides training on emerging and existing products, drives methodology and sales process, delivers coaching and field communications to enable successful Field performance and efficient on-boarding for all segments of the field organization (both technical and non technical).  As part of this ‘A’ team, you’ll have a Field first mentality, partner with Sales to deliver programs, and collaborate with stakeholders from across the company.

 

Cloudera is seeking an experienced and highly organized Onboarding Program Manager to lead the execution and continuous improvement of our global onboarding experience. This role is critical to accelerating time-to-productivity for new hires and ensuring a consistent, high-impact onboarding journey that aligns with Cloudera’s go-to-market strategy and culture.

As the Onboarding Program Manager, you will design, manage, and scale onboarding programs for field teams in partnership with Regional Enablement, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for coordinating content delivery, managing program logistics, and ensuring that each new hire is set up for long-term success.

To thrive in this role, you must have experience running global programs that support field performance, a strong understanding of cloud solutions, and a track record of building engaging, learner-focused experiences.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the onboarding program for sales new hires.

  • Partner with stakeholders (Regional Sales Enablement, Sales Leaders,  Product Marketing) to ensure onboarding content, and communications are delivered on time and aligned to business needs.

  • Manage onboarding communications including welcome emails, pre-boarding instructions, calendars, and session logistics.

  • Maintain onboarding schedules, event coordination, facilitator preparation, and post-program evaluations.

  • Collaborate with content creators and SMEs to develop and maintain engaging onboarding materials.

  • Track program metrics, feedback, and completion rates to identify opportunities for improvement and report progress to stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment with overall enablement strategy and support scaling efforts as the company grows.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of professional experience preferably within enterprise technology.

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, enablement, HR, or learning & development.

  • Proven experience planning and executing onboarding or training programs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to deliver content in an engaging and compelling manner. Comfortable working cross-functionally and with senior leadership.

  • A strong interest in adult learning and a willingness to think outside of the box when constructing training programs.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems for field, like Highspot.

  • Ability to analyze data and feedback to inform decisions and improve processes.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 

  • An entrepreneurial problem-solving attitude and growth mindset.

  • Ability to roll up sleeves and do what is needed to make programs successful.

Preferred Requirements

  • Background in tech, SaaS, or enterprise B2B environments

  • Prior experience managing complex programs or other customer facing projects

  • Instructional design or facilitation experience is a bonus
