The selected candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of Lexmark's enterprise network infrastructure and security policies. This role involves managing architects and engineers while engaging with business teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the enterprise network and connected systems. The Manager will also be responsible for overseeing projects, coordinating implementations, and eliminating barriers to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, they will liaise with other operational teams to resolve any network-related issues. The ideal candidate must possess robust communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 
  • Provide leadership, decision making, and guidance to the network engineering team.
  • Oversee the engineering and deployment of network solutions (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, Cloud Networks, etc).
  • Manage the day-to-day work activities of the network engineering team (Requests, Projects, Changes, Escalations)
  • Manage the quality and completeness of the day-to-day work performed by the network engineering team (recurring incidents, defects caused by change, change requests)
  • Manage workload, performance, and career development for team members.
  • Align team goals with broader organizational and security strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Forecast personnel, technology, and budget requirements to align project and operational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and design.
  • Partner with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, application, and product delivery teams to embed security and performance into all network designs.
  • Represent network engineering in cross-functional forums and executive briefings.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE 
  • Experience leading, developing, and mentoring individual contributors as first-line manager or supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field with 10+ years of networking and security experience.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, Public Cloud, Wireless, and VoIP networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols and switching protocols.
  • Knowledge of network security concepts, including web filters, NIDPS, DLP, SSL-DPI, firewalls, etc.
  • Knowledge of network services, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SNMP, IPSec, NetFlow.
  • Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.
  • Experience managing Zscaler, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco, InfoBlox, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting, automation, and DevOps functions including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC).
  • Familiarity with Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS, and ISO 27001 information security frameworks.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple priorities with proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Strong ability in multiple technologies, analytical techniques, and leadership skills.
  • Familiar with IT operational processes (Event, Incident, Change, Problem), development frameworks (Agile, SAFe), and service management frameworks (ITIL).

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-900, AZ-700, AZ-500, AZ-204)
  • CompTIA + Certifications (Network+, Security+, CASP+)
  • ISC2 Certifications (CISSP)
  • ISACA Certifications (CISM)
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNP, CCIE)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD  
  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience
