Our client is seeking a Product Manager – Technical II to join their Payment Gateway Solutions team. In this role, you’ll act as the Product Owner for an Agile development team, driving the delivery of innovative payment solutions in a fast-paced, scaled Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, architects, and developers to ensure that business requirements are translated into actionable, high-quality technical solutions. This is not a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Product Owner for your Agile development team, working closely with senior Product Managers to understand high-level business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements.

  • Break down complex business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the product roadmap using structured methods.

  • Conduct technical business and systems analysis to inform solution design and development.

  • Collaborate with Agile teams, system architects, and stakeholders to understand the impact on existing systems and ensure solutions align with architectural principles.

  • Actively contribute to the SAFe PI Planning process, preparing features for planning events and guiding the team on delivery priorities.

  • Define and groom user stories that capture functional requirements to meet agreed-upon solutions.

  • Take ownership of the team backlog, prioritize features, and accept user stories upon build completion.

  • Produce internal and external-facing documentation to support product features, using clear and structured language.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2.1 or higher degree (subjects such as STEM with a Finance minor, Law with Tech & Finance minor, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are ideal).

  • Strong technical and business analysis skills, with the ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Hunger to learn, grow, and upskill in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfort working with interface specifications, APIs, and performing related data mappings.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Agile teams and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Independent thinking, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time.

  • Payments experience is a plus but not required.
