Based in our Dublin Docklands office, Finance Solutions a Howden company are delighted to have a vacancy as a Mortgage Advisor, for our Mortgage book of business that will be an integral part of our wider Finance Solutions team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful Mortgage Advisor you will be responsible for helping clients to finance the purchase of properties and switch existing mortgages.
Working within a team of advisors in a fast-paced environment, you will manage a portfolio of clients, providing advice to new clients as well as support throughout the complete mortgage completion process.
Ensuring accurate entry of data at all times, you will also provide full administration support in all aspects of new business and for existing client reviews.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients’ financial circumstances, credit history and affordability to find them the best solution
  • Manage related paperwork, such as keeping track of bank statements and lender applications
  • Liaise and negotiate with banks to find the best loan for clients’ situations
  • Supporting clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering the required documents
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, market trends and regulations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a focus on quality service and compliance.
  • Meeting with clients to win mortgage business and step them through the process.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth mortgage journey.
  • Deal with providers to ensure a smooth transition of the pipeline.
  • Implement Company’s Compliance and office procedures regarding any documentation.
  • Adhere to Compliance as outlined in Handbook and Procedures Manual.

About You:

  • QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) designation
  • At least 2+ years' experience in providing mortgage advice
  • Working knowledge of the mortgage process including packaging and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good work ethic and a confident approach to daily duties
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage and market leading products
  • Target driven with an excellent track record
