We’re hiring for a Mortgage Advisor to support our growing Mortgages team!

To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated Mortgage Advisor to advise mortgage products suitable for the needs of your various clients. As an expert in your field, you will be targeted to generate and developing relationships with multiple local sources in order to meet the needs of your client's situation.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • QFA designation
  • 2 years + experience in providing mortgage advice
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of market leading mortgage products, lending policy and regulatory obligations are essential
  • Broker experience would be advantageous

Using these skills, you’ll be:

  • Providing specialist mortgage advice based on client's needs.
  • Managing related paperwork, such as keeping track of applications to be submitted to lenders, and the progress of applications.
  • Generating and developing relationships with various companies and local sources, in order to find and meet the needs of potential clients.
  • Liaising and negotiating with banks and direct lenders in order to find the best loan for the client’s situation.
  • Accurately assessing the client’s financial circumstances, credit history and affordability, in order to find their ideal match.
  • Ensuring their activities are in accordance with banking and financial legislation.
  • Exceeding financial targets and meeting time targets.
  • Maintaining and developing market knowledge and information on all mortgage products and related services.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of internal compliance are met on every application.
  • Cross selling and identifying leads to be referred across other business divisions.
