We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join an Amach team working closely with one of our clients. This position is part of a major Data Programme that impacts multiple areas of our client’s business, from customer engagement to operations. In this position, you are expected to work from our customer's Dublin office at least once a week.
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Design and develop data science prototypes
- Transform data science prototypes to production AI systems
- Collaborate with other data scientists, data analysts, data engineers, and data architects on production AI system deployments
- Create AI blueprints which illustrate best practice regarding the building of AI system on strategic platforms and tooling
- Train, retrain, and monitor AI production systems and AI models as needed
- Run tests and experiments, and document findings and results
- Consult with business partners to determine and refine AI systems
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a data scientist, ML engineer or similar role - typically 5+ years’ experience
- Proven experience taking AI prototypes out of the lab and into production
- General knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, testing, and software engineering best practices
- In-depth knowledge of Python, Spark and PySpark, and MLFlow
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or related field
