This is a remote position for candidates in Costa Rica, which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
What You'll Bring:

Works with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications

Assists in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.

Designs, develops, and test applications in accordance with established standards.

Works with teammates in the migration of older applications.

Analyses and resolves technical and application problems.

Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

Package and support deployment of releases.
-
Develops, refines, and tunes integrations between applications.

Works with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of the customer
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor´s degree in computer science, information technology or other technical area preferred. Relevant experience or degree in progress will be accepted in lieu of degree.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Experience with software development cycles

Knowledge of programming language - Java (2+ years)

Skills in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.

Knowledge of Java frameworks including Spring Boot, REST

Knowledge of the Cloud concepts, hands on experience with AWS, GCP is a plus.

Knowledge of Git and version control.

Knowledge of any relational database and one of the NoSQL database.

Knowledge of Web frameworks like Vue, React or Angular.

Excellent skills in front end (GUI and web development)

Experience with Continuous Deployment, Infrastructure as Code, Automated Testing, Automated Configuration Management.
