About the Role

At BearingPoint, we empower clients to embrace digital transformation through innovative and sustainable solutions. Our consultants combine deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to deliver meaningful change. As part of our Enterprise Applications team, you’ll collaborate with diverse organisations to architect and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions that enable long-term success.

We are looking for a thoughtful and experienced Technical Lead to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and shaping technology strategies that align with business goals. You will guide the design and delivery of CRM solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem—including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and emerging tools such as Microsoft Copilot—ensuring they are inclusive, scalable, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture: Lead the design of secure, scalable Dynamics 365 CRM solutions that reflect client needs and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Support and inspire development teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages learning and innovation.
  • Requirements Analysis: Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, high-quality technical solutions.
  • Customisation & Configuration: Oversee system configuration and development, including plugins, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Integration Strategy: Design and implement seamless integrations using APIs, middleware, and Azure services.
  • Development Oversight: Contribute to hands-on development across Dynamics 365 components and related technologies (.NET, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Quality Assurance: Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure maintainable and reliable solutions.
  • Project Delivery: Lead technical delivery across CRM projects, including planning, estimation, and risk management.
  • Client Advisory: Provide clear guidance on Dynamics 365 capabilities and effective use-cases.
  • Upgrades & Enhancements: Manage solution upgrades and enhancements to maintain performance and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues and provide ongoing support to ensure system stability.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and accessible technical documentation to support delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable outcomes.
  • Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay informed on Microsoft product updates and industry trends to bring fresh thinking to client solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Dynamics 365/CRM 2013/2015/2016), including 2+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex CRM implementations and integrations.
  • Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation, plugin development, and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, MB-600, MB-400 or equivalent are highly desirable.
