We’re hiring for a Media Planning & Investment Executive as part of Amplifi in Dublin.
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the planning and buying of radio and press whilst maintaining the smooth running of the client, ensuring that best practice is adhered to in day-to-day activities and when dealing with publishers, strategists and planning teams. Ensure delivery of plans against client objectives whilst balancing agency trading objectives and ultimately driving revenue & profitability that delivers business value for the client and the Dentsu commercial agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and executing the offline planning process working collaboratively with client management to ensure the client brief is delivered upon including timelines and budget whilst delivering maximum value in all investment for clients
- Booking media plans with key media partners ensuring accuracy of these
- Negotiating media pricing and deals on behalf of clients
- Tracking of client performance versus pricing commitments and delivering against these to meet contractual requirements
- Develop and cultivate relationships with internal specialists and client management ensuring that the internal brief is being met to a consistently high standard, delivering supporting slides and specialist media plans to the client teams and ensuring any changes to the plan are in line with the overall strategy.
- Working in partnership with client management, ensuring campaigns go live on time and adherence to Service Level Agreement’s.
- Building and developing media owner relationships to drive market leading planning for clients
Qualifications + Skills
- Competent using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to understand how teams and department work together to deliver better results for clients
- Numerically minded with a commercial outlook
- An interest in Media/Technology and how the Media Market is developing
- Detail orientated with a curiosity to learn
- A flair of influence and tenacity
