We’re looking for a talented Media Planner. You will assist and lead our Media business with clients (both supplier and retail) to support the most relevant client engagement strategies/solutions to grow retailer loyalty and build brand value and loyalty.

This is a hybrid working role, with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week in our Dublin office.  

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with immediate and wider media/insight teams to develop and execute best in class retail media plans.
  • Utilise dunnhumby insights to ensure recommended plan components support retailer customer strategies and build brand/customer value.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide input into helping shape and launch emerging solutions.
  • Lead client engagement (as assigned) to achieve business objectives with a customer focus.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence supplier/retailer decision making with respect to marketing and media programs in order to provide customer solutions.

Who you'll be working with:

In this role you’ll work with world class and passionate people using cutting-edge techniques on projects that will have both short and long-term impact. You’ll work along within a media planning team, alongside a campaign management team, a media insight team, and a finance team. Externally you’ll work with the Retail Client & FMCG Clients via email, phone/video calls and in person when possible. You’ll also have contact with external agencies and sales/marketing client contacts. You will report to the head of dunnhumby media Ireland.

What you'll need: [Essential]

  • Evidence of meeting sales targets and growing client sales
  • Evidence of strategic media planning and research analysis
  • Knowledge of Brand Marketing & FMCG sector
  • Knowledge of media channels
  • Understanding of digital communications
  • Strong account management & multi-tasking skills
  • Stakeholder management skills

A plus if you also have: [Desirable] 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any related subject.  
  • Experience with FMCGs
  • Promotions experience
  • Knowledge of Digital consumer promotion
  • Data Analysis skills
  • Data interpretation & Data Modelling skills
  • Change management skills
