We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer whose main responsibility is to design, develop and verify the performance of mechanical components & sub-assemblies, paper handling devices and complete laser printer.
Your typical day will include:

Application of mechanical design principle, knowledge and skills to deliver simple to moderately complex mechanical systems meeting design requirements and product specification

Generation of complete 2D, 3D and Assembly prints
-
Generation of design ideas and concepts to meet product requirements
-
Conducts tolerance analysis on module to system level assembly
-
Performs root cause analysis and provides countermeasures
-
Coordinates mechanical development activities with global cross-functional teams
-
Verifies module and or system level design functionality and problem solution requiring test plan generation, laboratory equipment set-up, data acquisition and analysis to come up with engineering recommendations

Understanding of Product Process Delivery Lifecycle, execution of the process and its design requirement

Supports manufacturing build and resolve any technical issues
-
Drives the generation and implementation of cost reduction ideas

Documentation of captured learning and best practices

Other related activities
We invite you to join our team, if you have:

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (degree in MS is an added advantage)
-
Has proven extensive knowledge in hands-on laboratory mechanical work, testing methods, and root cause analysis.

Computer Aided Design software proficiency
-
Familiar with plastic and sheet metal manufacturing and design processes
