The Marketing Automation Manager will join the Marketing Technical Operations team, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Tech Ops. This role will build and execute marketing automation programs in Pardot, inclusive of emails, nurture programs, lead scoring updates, landing pages as well as list and database management. The Marketing Automation Manager will collaborate with several different teams across the business on various marketing campaigns, lead acceleration strategy, and campaign implementation. This individual will execute programs and report on metrics to ensure proper database management, lead flow, routing, and progression.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute marketing automation programs in Pardot, including emails, nurture programs, lead scoring updates, and landing pages.
  • Collaborate with various teams on marketing campaigns and lead acceleration strategies.
  • Design and deploy emails tied to a variety of marketing activities such as events and email nurtures.
  • Demonstrate expertise in campaign setup, deployment, and measurement.
  • Work with Revenue Marketing stakeholders to meet deadlines and manage a queue of work.
  • Deploy email testing to improve open rates, CTR, engagement, and conversion.
  • Collaborate on Pardot best practices, email design, testing, and audience segmentation.
  • Stay current with best practices related to spam compliance and data privacy regulations.
  • Support business stakeholders with list acquisition as needed.
  • Assist with system and data migration projects as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, especially in email marketing and database management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Pardot, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce.
  • Experience building and designing in Pardot and deploying email programs.
  • SaaS startup mindset, accustomed to fast-paced environments and shared services.
  • Demonstrates self-leadership and exceptional people skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with payments, point of sale, ecommerce, or SaaS preferred.

Nice-to-haves
Marketo knowledge is a nice-to-have.
