The Position:

The Manager of Sales Development, EMEA & APAC will help to shape FastSpring’s go-to-market growth strategy by building and leading our SDR organization. This person will help expand FastSpring’s international reach and contribute directly to achieving our revenue goals.  

We’re looking for a leader who can continue to build our SDR team - establishing structure and process while fostering a culture of collaboration, energy, and results.  It’s a small team made up of highly motivated individuals in the EMEA and APAC regions, who are responsible for qualifying inbound demand and/or generating qualified meetings through outbound prospecting efforts.

This role offers the chance to shape and refine how we work, bringing fresh ideas to improve efficiency and results. We’re looking for a leader who is strategic, and passionate about coaching, mentoring, and motivating a talented team to do their best work.

This position reports to our VP, Sales.

Skills & Experience:

  • Manage and optimize the performance of the SDR team with live coaching and mentoring, key activity measurement, and conversion / pipeline creation analysis.
  • Own the entire inbound and outbound leads process making recommendations for improvements around efficiency and productivity.
  • Grow the team of Sales Development Representatives by hiring and retaining strong performers.
  • Work closely with Marketing and the Sales leaders to ensure messaging and processes are aligned to get the most out of the demand funnel. 
  • Develop, monitor, and optimize outbound lead strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Excellent communication skills; listening and writing skills.
  • Passion for developing talent and coaching a team to success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing BDR / SDR teams.
  • Experience in a B2B software company selling with Inside Sales is a plus.
  • Payments or fintech industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com inspection and exceptional at SFDC reporting.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Team player, high energy, reliable.
