We are currently seeking a Manager, Proposals to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, Proposals at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client proposals, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client needs, ultimately contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies in the healthcare industry.

What you will be doing

  • Leading the development and preparation of client proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and scope of work documents.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, project management, and finance, to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyzing client requests for proposals (RFPs) and other bid documents to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions and strategies.
  • Managing the proposal process from initiation to submission, ensuring adherence to internal processes and timelines.
  • Providing support and guidance to proposal team members, including proposal writers and coordinators, to optimize proposal quality and efficiency.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, business development, or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, including study design, conduct, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
