The Role of PMS Manager, EMEA :

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Manager PMS, EMEA region, that reports to the Director of PMS and POS Operations. The role provides corporate support and resources by establishing brand standards and processes to leverage optimal system usage for properties with a focus on the EMEA region. This allows to develop and communication of new procedures to properties – supporting new initiatives from the various corporate stakeholders and strengthening existing ones.

The role is based out of the Dubai Corporate Office and is hybrid with 3 days in the office.

As Manager PMS, your primary responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Drive standardization and develop documentation for key processes in rooms operations and reporting so that processes are executed consistently in PMS
  • Key contact for EMEA requirements – validates against developed initiatives and test for viability/feasibility for global roll-out
  • Assist in implementing operational PMS enhancements and configuration, to meet local regional business needs and requirements.
  • Help in new pre-opening staging, setup, and training
  • Keep Corporate PMS team informed of all regional items related to PMS standards and localizations.
  • Work closely together with Hotel Systems Team and PMS corporate team
  • Maintain relationships with regional business leads such as Rooms Council, and regional office teams
  • Responsible for the communication of updates, next steps on system changes, new versions / upgrades, and functionality issues to all regional stakeholders.
  • Meet with Global PMS Team weekly to review and prioritize property operations issues and enhancements, including escalations as needed.
  • Serve as the primary regional point of contact for EMEA properties for operational PMS matters, including but not limited to Front Office, Reservations, and Finance.
  • Assist deploying new standards with Rooms Operations at all properties.
  • Responsible for ensuring that documentation is current and readily available.
  • Identify and prioritize developing required standards and best practices based on common operational helpdesk requests.

Our Ideal Manager PMS, EMEA will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in hotel operations (preferably rooms)
  • Advanced operations knowledge of Opera PMS, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter: ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision – pro-active and takes initiative
  • Strong administrator with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making skills: strong understanding of business acumen to drive and improve product quality as well as operational efficiency.
