Responsibilities :

The manager develops business management goals and objectives that aligns to global company vision/mission for growth and prosperity.  The manager is responsible for designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals. The manager is accountable to ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its required activities and deliverables.  

 

Leads a team of data analysts focused on data setup process including first/second level resolution support for data governance setup processes and related primary and subscribing systems. Provides reporting, monitoring and analysis of data quality and integrity checks. Knowledge in Azure, Machine Learning, BigDecisions or related platforms would be added advantage.   

 

Pulls and analyzes company databases and external sources to make inferences about data figures and complete and performs complex statistical analysis. Make necessary data transformations to create data visuals to help gain insight from data. Provide necessary reports, and analyze the data therein, to make recommendations for improvement business efficiency or growth. Designs experiments and methodologies to generate and collect data for business use. Projects may also include a focus on digital transformation implementation and monetization or help identify new business opportunities. 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Lead and oversee the work of employees and ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for growth and prosperity 

  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of overall company goals 

  • Ensure that the team has the adequate and suitable resources to complete deliverables like people, material, equipment, tools, access, etc.) 

  • Organize and coordinate with business to ensure maximum productivity  

  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Maintain relationships with business functions, partners, users, etc. 

  • Assess overall team performance against objectives like kpi, sla, metrics, etc. 

  • Represent the team in business meetings, events, conferences, etc. 

  • Ensure team adherence to company COBC and legal rules/guidelines. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain such as Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, Business Management or related field 

 

  • Work Experience 

  • Relevant work experience in data governance, data quality management, information architecture and governance design and implementation, with significant influence on overall direction of data governance management
