An exciting opportunity exists in our Sales Development MuleSoft organisation (role based in Dublin) for a 1st Line Manager looking to further their career in a hyper-growth, fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be a critical contributor to the corporate sales strategy, providing a healthy and reliable sales pipeline to support the overall sales organisation and achieve EMEA objectives..

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for our EMEA market who will lead and develop a team of early-career sales professionals (Business Development Representatives - BDRs) to generate pipeline & revenue to fuel the growth of our EMEA business.
You will play a critical leadership role within our high-velocity sales engine, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Strategy, and Programs to drive scalable pipeline generation, strategic prospecting excellence, and continuous career development.
Your Impact:
Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Hire, inspire, and lead a team of BDRs to exceed pipeline generation targets.

  • Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous development through coaching, feedback, and enablement.

  • Mentor team members on sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, discovery, and customer-centric selling.

Strategic Sales Development Execution

  • Own and execute the demand generation strategy in partnership with sales and marketing for the region you support.

  • Align closely with Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors to develop target account strategies and pipeline coverage plans.

  • Guide the team in executing multi-touch, personalised prospecting campaigns that yield high-quality opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Track and analyse key performance metrics to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for growth.

  • Implement tools, cadences, and workflows that optimize productivity and ensure data quality within Salesforce CRM.

  • Contribute to the development of scalable processes and best practices across the EMEA Sales Development organisation.

Career Development & Talent Building

  • Champion Salesforce’s culture of internal mobility by building the next generation of Account Executives and Sales Leaders.

  • Partner with our world-class Sales Academy and Enablement teams to support onboarding, training, and career progression.

  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team environment where every individual can thrive and bring their authentic self to work.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Circa 2–4+ years of leadership experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or Inside Sales, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or B2B environment.

  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales talent to exceed targets and progress their careers.

  • Strong understanding of pipeline generation strategies, sales metrics, and modern prospecting tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.

  • A growth mindset with a passion for people development, continuous learning, and innovation.

  • Fluent in either French, Italian or German

  • Fluency in English and valid work authorisation for Ireland.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling or managing teams within EMEA region.

  • Track record of building scalable, repeatable sales processes.

  • Exposure to Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or similar sales methodologies.
