We are Datadog's in-house product experts. The Technical Enablement Management (TEM) team empowers customers through technical training sessions, ensuring they maximize the value of Datadog. We combine deep technical knowledge with a consultative approach, demonstrating best practices and tailoring training to specific use cases.

As a Manager on this team, you will play a critical role in strengthening our relationships with Sales and Customer Success teams in EMEA, developing the Technical Enablement Managers (TEMs) who report to you, and evolving our enablement programs to better support customer success and adoption.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the positioning and enablement strategy for Sales and Customer Success teams in EMEA, partnering closely with them to drive revenue by effectively pitching training as a value-added service and increasing the consumption of our complimentary training offerings.
  • Develop sales tools and enablement resources to help internal teams confidently position and sell training to customers.
  • Analyze customer training adoption and feedback to refine offerings and increase conversions.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of TEMs in EMEA, with additional responsibility for two TEMs in APAC.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, session shadowing, and feedback reviews to drive continuous improvement in training quality and delivery.
  • Ensure TEMs provide technical training that drives product adoption and long-term customer success.
  • Optimize adoption of departmental tooling and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive consistency in training delivery, content utilization, and reporting across the team.
  • Monitor and assign workload, ensuring TEMs achieve 80% productivity, balancing training delivery, content creation, and enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with Technical Solutions leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to address urgent needs and implement process improvements.
  • Continuously iterate on training best practices to enhance technical product adoption and customer success.

Who You Are:

  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on executing strategies that drive measurable business impact and revenue growth.
  • Passionate about people management and coaching, with experience leading and developing a high-performing team.
  • A strategic thinker who balances customer needs with business goals and drives cross-functional alignment.
  • An effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
  • Process-oriented, with a track record of implementing scalable enablement programs in a growing company.
  • Technically proficient, with knowledge of modern infrastructure, monitoring solutions, and cloud technologies.
  • Experienced (5+ years) in Training, Presales, Post-Sales, Consulting, or another customer-facing role, with a history of success.
  • A strong coach, able to provide constructive feedback and drive improvements in training delivery.
  • Educated in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
