Profile Overview

We're seeking an entrepreneurial M&A Evangelist to bridge the gap between our marketing and M&A teams, creating founder-focused content that shapes our narrative in the SaaS acquisition space. This role goes beyond typical content creation - you'll be at the heart of saas.group, working directly with our leadership team to amplify our voice and establish thought leadership in the industry. You'll have the unique opportunity to transform complex SaaS and M&A insights into compelling content that attracts founders considering exits, while building your own professional network and personal brand alongside ours. Most importantly, your work will directly generate quality M&A leads, driving our acquisition pipeline and strengthening our position as the buyer of choice for SaaS founders looking for their next chapter.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

  • Developing a comprehensive thought leadership strategy for 4-5 key profiles at saas.group
  • Creating and publishing founder-focused content that generates quality M&A leads
  • Establishing strong internal connections and beginning to build or expand your own external network in the SaaS M&A ecosystem
Your responsibilities
  • Content Engine Architect: You will be responsible for our entire content strategy, from conception to execution. This involves staying updated on the latest SaaS and M&A trends, conducting thorough research, and transforming our internal projects, success stories, and case studies into valuable content. You will actively engage with various saas.group teams and key stakeholders to gather content ideas and stories. You will produce diverse content formats, including long-form guides, social media posts, videos, and newsletters, all specifically tailored to attract founders.
  • Content Amplification & Community Engagement: You will be instrumental in ensuring our content reaches the right audience at the optimal time. This entails close collaboration with the Head of Growth, CMO, the founding team and M&A team to strategically publish content on our website and distribute it organically on key platforms like LinkedIn through posts, comments and potentially ads. Furthermore, you will actively participate in and contribute to relevant communities (e.g., LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Slack, Whatsapp) to maximize our reach and impact. Building a closed saas.group community specifically for SaaS bootstrap founders is also a strong possibility.
  • Driving Thought Leadership: You will be instrumental in establishing saas.group leaders as recognized industry voices. This includes pinpointing key team members, developing a cohesive content strategy and calendar for both corporate and individual profiles, and assisting each leader in cultivating a distinctive yet harmonized voice. You'll provide support with content concepts, ghostwriting, and content repurposing as necessary. Additionally, you will expand your own professional network and emerge as a thought leader yourself.
  • Strategic Networking: You will actively build and nurture a professional network within the SaaS and M&A ecosystem. This includes attending and participating in industry events, conferences, and podcasts to represent saas.group and cultivate relationships. By engaging with other professionals and influencers, you'll not only grow your own personal brand but also uncover potential M&A opportunities and enhance our reputation as a trusted authority. You'll also support and join our Head of Growth on live online events and podcasts.
What You bring to the table
  • Understanding of the SaaS industry and/or M&A landscape with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new industry trends
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality content across multiple formats, with examples demonstrating your writing abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing social media and content distribution strategies on platforms like LinkedIn where founder communities gather
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to connect with founders and industry professionals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an analytical approach to content strategy and performance
  • Proficiency with modern content creation tools, including agentic AI for workflow optimization
What’s in it for You
  • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like.
  • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
  • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
  • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
  • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning  and expertise with each other internally.
  • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.

We don’t just simply offer you to “take a job with us” but rather to “join us on this journey” to build the world's largest platform of independent SaaS companies.

Sounds like something you’re up for? Feel free to apply even if you don’t check all these boxes. We believe in the power of diversity and fresh perspectives to spice up our team. Your application might just be the missing ingredient!
