Things You'll Do 

  • Project Management
    • Coordinate the journey of content from English to multiple languages, ensuring product and marketing materials speak fluently to every market
    • Track project timelines and milestones that keep our global launches synchronized and on budget
    • Spot translation hiccups before they become roadblocks, helping the team implement smart solutions
    • Gather the numbers that tell our localization story, supporting data-driven decisions that improve our global approach
  • Vendor Management
    • Build rapport with our language partners who bring our words to life in markets around the world
    • Help assess vendor performance, ensuring quality translations that truly connect with local audiences
    • Keep an eye on costs and efficiency, making sure we're getting the most value from every translation dollar
    • Scout for new language talent that can help us expand into emerging markets or specialized content areas
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Work directly with product, marketing, and other teams to understand exactly what they need to succeed globally
    • Share localization insights that help teams design with global audiences in mind from day one
    • Be the essential link that keeps information flowing between Qualtrics teams and our language partners

What We're Looking For On Your CV 

Required Experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in localization project management
  • Proven experience with localization technologies and tools, with the ability to integrate them into project workflows effectively, such as TMS, CMS, project management tools.
  • Knowledge and experience in Machine Translation
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands without dropping balls or missing deadlines
  • Problem-solving mindset that doesn't wait for perfect instructions to make progress
  • Meticulous organizational skills that help transform complexity into clarity

Nice to Have:

  • Experience being the primary manager of translators or language service providers in any capacity for at least a year
  • Exposure to the localization industry from the client perspective
  • Communication skills that make complex processes understandable to everyone involved
  • Curiosity about how AI and machine translation are transforming the language industry, ever seeking new ways to optimize translation workflows
  • Proficiency in a second or more languages
