Overview:

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager at 2K, you will play a key role in driving player-centric marketing strategies that enhance engagement, retention, and lifetime value (LTV). Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help develop and execute data-driven propositions that cultivate lasting relationships with our players. You’ll leverage insights from our players and game data to optimize every stage of the player journey, from acquisition to long-term loyalty. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate and curious about gaming, and has a deep understanding of how to nurture and grow a player base in the ever-evolving gaming landscape.

What you will do:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Work closely with individual Business Units (BUs) early in the planning process to integrate lifecycle marketing strategies that enhance player engagement and retention.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of player journey maps for different segments, ensuring that all touchpoints are optimized to drive engagement, retention, and LTV
  • Support lifecycle propositions by assisting in creating and maintaining executions calendar, ensuring that all content and initiatives are aligned across business, brand and player.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in existing tools and processes, providing input to enhance efficiency and the overall player experience.
  • Help drive continuous improvement. Actively contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices for lifecycle marketing, supporting the team's efforts to innovate and refine marketing tactics.

Execution

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of lifecycle marketing programs, ensuring they align with broader strategy goals and deliver measurable impact on player engagement, retention, and LTV
  • Own and optimize "Always On" triggered player journeys that foster continuous engagement and retention, working in close partnership with Owned Channels to execute seamlessly across touchpoints.
  • Collaborate across teams to test and implement new, innovative approaches that elevate the player experience and drive measurable results.
  • Collaborate with the team to support the adoption and execution of lifecycle marketing best practices, ensuring alignment across channels and executions.

Testing & Reporting

  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of lifecycle programs, presenting insights on performance and suggesting ways to improve the player experience.
  • Support cross-functional learning agendas and testing plans that drive toward shared outcomes across teams.
  • Assist in planning and executing tests and experiments to continuously optimize player journeys and maximize business impact.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data insights are properly interpreted and translated into actionable recommendations for optimization and player experience enhancements.

What will make you a great fit:

  • 4-6 years of experience in lifecycle or cohort based marketing preferably within games or digital entertainment.
  • A passion for working with data to inform marketing strategies and a strong understanding of key lifecycle metrics (e.g., engagement, retention & LTV)
  • Proven ability to work closely across teams to execute integrated marketing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and present data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve player engagement and retention challenges.
  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a scrappy, resourceful approach and comfort with uncertainty.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for games, or experience working in the gaming industry (preferred).
  • A deep understanding of gaming behaviors and player motivations, with a focus on providing exceptional player experiences at every stage of the lifecycle. (preferred)
