Are you our new Global Legal Manager (Investments)?

Together with the other legal counsels working on transactions in the Global Legal team you will be providing legal advice on all aspects of the Intrum Group’s legal matters. Intrum makes significant investments in non-performing loan portfolios from financial institutions and large companies and regularly acquires companies across Europe. Much of your working time will be dedicated to such transactions where you will be working closely with the commercial teams, local Intrum lawyers and law firms, global legal colleagues as well as co-investors.

What will you do:

  • Provide legal advice to the investment teams within the group, primarily to the local and global portfolio investment teams.
  • Draft, review and negotiate relevant contracts, including but not limited to asset/loan purchase agreement, share purchase agreements as well as customary transaction documents related thereto (NDAs, bid letters etc).
  • Participate in the investment and transaction processes and either lead and/or assist in the legal work streams as well as other work streams.
  • General support to the global legal function in relevant day-to-day matters based on workload within the global function as well as prior experience and interests of the candidate.
  • Review and negotiate relevant contracts relating to transactions relating to investments in portfolios of non-performing loan transactions.
  • Participate in the transaction processes and either lead and/or assist in the legal work streams as well as other work streams, as decided on a case-by-case basis.
  • Liaise and manage external law firms, both in the procurement phase as well as during project phase with drafting and negotiations, due diligence work etc.
  • Together with the Legal Director responsible for investments, develop and maintain relevant global legal instructions relating to investments (playbooks, legal processes etc.) to ensure continuous improvements throughout the organization
