Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including development, publishing, licensing, talent/voice-actor, influencer, distribution, and vendor agreements.
  • Oversee the protection and enforcement of our IP portfolio (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets). Advise on IP clearance for in-game content, titles, and marketing materials.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to game studios and product teams, reviewing features, community moderation policies, and monetization strategies from inception to launch.
  • Maintain and update our End User License Agreements (EULAs), Terms of Service, and Privacy Policies to reflect evolving legal landscapes and game features.
  • Manage pre-litigation disputes, DMCA takedowns, and coordinate with other counsels when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Meaningful experience supporting legal teams, either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of legal department functions and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Jira, etc.).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Business acumen, pragmatism, and resourcefulness.
  • Curiosity, excellence, and positivity.
  • Great work ethics and professionalism.
