Lead Domain Solutions Architect

Position Purpose:

Develops domain specific capabilities and roadmaps, works closely with the Data and Analytics (DnA) Solution and Strategy Architects, analyzes high-level requirements, constructs workflow charts and diagrams, studies system capabilities, writes specifications, process modeling, organization modeling, and use cases.

• Develops strong relationships within the application teams as well as business units (BU) to become an expert in the intersection between the architecture, applications, and BU

• Provides planning, analysis, guidance, and definition of a technical architecture that effectively supports the business strategy

• Architects and designs comprehensive technology supporting business solutions that meet BU requirements on high-impact projects

• Applies broad knowledge of Centene’s business capabilities and service offerings to develop a portfolio of solution alternatives that can be refined, enhanced, or tailored to meet specific needs for their respective customers

• Aligns the organizational goals and capability implications with the required organizational change, including staff, role, reporting and size impacts

• Ensures the target state business process supports the capability requirements

• Analyzes business change drivers to determine business, data, solution, and information technology requirements

• Evaluates short-term needs required to support key business goals & establish priorities

• Consults with business, data, and technical subject matter experts to identify how a given business architecture can support these goals

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 – 7 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:

• One or more of the following skills are desired.

• Experience with Data Management (pipelines, warehousing, modeling, ETL), Data Analytics, Software Development Lifecycle, Cyber Security; Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS); Platform as a Service (PaaS); Software as a Service (SaaS)

• Knowledge of Other: Various Integration methodologies, , mobile and web technologies, Snowflake data platform or other analytic database platform

Soft Skills:

• Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty

• Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
