Metaverse is a young and independent game development company led by industry veterans who worked for core games such as Far Cry, Destiny, Halo series, Warface, League of Legends, Diablo Immortal, Mount&Blade series, Metro Exodus, and more. Angelic

Angelic combines turn-based strategy combat with a narrative RPG, all backed by a collaboratively crafting science-fiction setting thanks to blockchain technology. Get ready to shape a massive conflict in the dark and compelling universe of Angelic.

Job Description

As a Lead Cinematics Artist you will be responsible for managing and mentoring Cinematics Team and be a key player on creating high-quality believable Sci-Fi world.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the cinematic team in development of high quality cinematics,
  • Provide feedback to the team, mentor for the best practices
  • Create, and maintain pipelines and technical requirements,
  • Plan, organize and prioritize tasks with the Producer
  • Track the creation process, identify problems and find solutions
  • Collaborate with Animations Lead to improve development of motion capture and keyframe animation into the cinematic,
  • Communicate and work closely with the Art and Level Design teams to translate scripted scenes into cinematics and to balance story with gameplay,
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with technical Leads in order to improve the quality of the tools.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working in the video games as an Artist, Animator, Designer, or any other related job,
  • A strong knowledge of storytelling, film language, and cinematography techniques,
  • Experience with 3D softwares (Motionbuilder, Maya, Unreal Engine, etc.),
  • Unreal Engine & AA+ game experience
  • Excellent leadership and people skills,
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork oriented attitude,
  • Excellent organizational skills,
  • Good understanding of acting, including posing and timing,
  • Strong knowledge of cinematics, framing, editing, tone, and narrative structure,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Experience with motion capture
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written
