Job Description:
Location: Galway/South West Field Based
Division: Oncology
At Ipsen, we are committed to improving patients’ lives through innovation in specialty care. We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Oncology team and drive success across the Southwest territory in Ireland.
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will build and maintain strong professional relationships with oncologists, hospital networks, and healthcare professionals. Your mission is to deliver approved disease and product information, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while meeting or exceeding sales targets in line with Ipsen’s ethics and compliance standards.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement key account plans aligned with Ipsen’s business strategy and omnichannel approach.
- Engage stakeholders and KOLs to strengthen partnerships and influence decision-making.
- Provide clinical education and communicate complex data effectively to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
- Drive sales performance through exceptional selling skills and strategic account management.
- Ensure compliance with Ipsen policies and IPHA Code of Practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Minimum BS/BA in business, science, or nursing registration.
- Experience: Proven track record in specialist hospital sales, account management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish pharmaceutical landscape and HSE processes.
- IPHA Code certification required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
