DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.4 Bn water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation, and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse markets using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world.
We are looking for a new colleague to drive growth in Benelux and France. As part of the EMEA Water Solutions sales organization and reporting to the Western Europe Commercial Leader you will be responsible for primarily implementing the growth strategy for our broad DuPont Water Solutions portfolio in the designated area. The position will be preferably based in Belgium or Netherlands, with possible location in Luxemburg or France.
Your key responsibilities:
 

  • Develop deep knowledge of market and applications for the full DuPont Water product portfolio (IER, RO, UF, MBR, CCRO), leverage knowledge of industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers.
  • Maintain and expand the aftermarket business in the region, as well as identify, create and develop new growth opportunities across the designated territory (in both share gain from competition and with new projects), active prospection, visit non-buying customers.
  • Manage and further develop the partnership with assigned Key Accounts within the region (Distributors, OEMs, End Users, Consultants, EPCs), initiate commercial and technical discussion to confirm customers’ needs and propose value selling solutions, establish relationships with key decision makers, negotiate technical and commercial contracts, related prices & conditions, develop Strategic account plans for key customers.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing applications, identify and support the launch of new products.
  • Plan, forecast, report on sales and business performance according to company requirements.
  • Develop and track opportunities and projects within the region; record and update pipeline in salesforce.com.
  • Build strong networks with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and others) as needed to achieve company objectives.
  • Capture and report key competitors’ insights, identify current competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and DWS products’ competitive advantage, provide feedback to strategic marketing, technical service and R&D for product improvement.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business, marketing, or a technical field such as chemistry or engineering
  • 5+ years successful B2B Industrial sales experience in water treatment industry utilizing a consultative sales approach, demonstrated successes in achieving sales growth.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
  • Relevant commercial & technical experience with UF, RO and IER Technologies is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel (40% +).
  • Positive attitude, open-minded, dynamic, team-player, and enthusiastic about taking initiative with effective negotiation skills.
  • Results oriented, strategic thinking and strong commercial mindset.
  • Ability to connect with internal and external customers at all organizational levels and diverse cultural backgrounds.
