We're looking for a Technical Lead well-versed in Confluent Cloud or Kafka to steer the development of robust data streaming and processing systems. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to shape solutions, mentor a team poised for learning, and directly impact the scalability of our client's operations. This position is ideal if you're keen to take ownership of projects and thrive in a role where your contribution is key to delivering high-quality software swiftly and proficiently.
Required skills & qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience with data streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Technical Leadership experience
- Experience with scalable, distributed software systems
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Kafka clusters
- Expertise in Kafka Connect for integrating with various data sources and sinks
- Knowledge with Kafka security protocols and best practices
- Ability to design and optimize Kafka topics, partitions, and consumer groups
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools specific to Kafka and Confluent Platform
- Knowledge of cloud services from AWS, Azure, or GCP in relation to Kafka deployment
