The role involves supporting and upgrading Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD tools, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and AWS. Troubleshoot and optimize development processes across global teams.
IDT is looking for a professional who'll help our Engineering Teams build and deploy code better, faster and secure.
In this role you will:
- Support, maintain and upgrade Kubernetes clusters, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory solutions and other related infrastructure and tools.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, etc.
- Implement and test High Availability, Fault Tolerance, Backup and Disaster Recovery strategies, Monitoring and Alerting
- Provide support to global development and infrastructure teams, troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
- Identify and address issues, including cost and security in both AWS and on-premises environments.
Our perfect colleague has:
- Experience with Jenkins, Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
- Proficient in at least one Infrastructure-as-Code tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, etc).
- Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Scripting and automation skills.
- Exposure to SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles, DSD (Disaster Recovery, Security, and Documentation)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams
- Good level of English – B2 or higher.
It would be an advantage to have:
- Experience with the following technologies: SonarQube, Vault, Consul, Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Zabbix, AWS stack.
- Familiar with GitHub API
