Dynamic Yield, by Mastercard is on the lookout for a Professional Services IT Project Manager with experience interacting with customers, knowledge of technology. As the project manager, you are the bridge between our development, qa and design teams and your (external or internal) customer. The role requires someone who can accurately define the technical scope of development tasks and prioritize any feedback or necessary changes for future development cycles. As the technical scoping expert, you will guide the customer and help ensure maximum satisfaction with Dynamic Yield Professional Services development projects.
Our IT Project Manager must have a strong penchant for technical aptitude along with personality strengths in self-starting and being a proactive instigator. A proven track record of managing development projects end-to-end including requirements gathering, scoping document creation, design review, sprint planning, QA and UAT is a must.
The Task-at-Hand:
• Become an expert in the Dynamic Yield development process.
• Gather all necessary information and technical requirements including design specifications and formulate a clear and concise Statement of Work (SOW) document.
• Communicate directly with the internal development team on prioritizations for sprint planning.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure thorough testing.
• Partner with the Account Management team and Development teams to ensure constant communication and understanding of capacity, priority and current progress of ongoing projects.
• Ideate and implement new processes to increase efficiency of internal development workflow.
• Write documentation, knowledge-based articles, and tutorials to improve the internal understanding of processes.
Optimal Skills for Success:
• 1+ years of technical project management and client-facing experience
• Experience with managing development projects
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent time management and strong organization skills
• Business fluency in English
• Able to read and understand HTML/CSS/JS code is a big advantage.
• Proven ability to take ownership, act on client goals, and thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment while working independently
Nice to have:
• Experience with SaaS product environment
• Experience with web-based project management
