Position Description:
- Work with the product team to design and develop features for our Native iOS applications
- Responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting LetsGetChecked’s application
- Contribute to app design and usability with feedback and suggestions including understanding of Apple’s Human Interface guidelines
- Ensure a high quality of code and user experience, investigating and fixing bugs and crashes within the app
- Work to deliver the product road-map by collaborating with Product, QA, Design, back-end teams and Analytics to deliver the right solutions
- Proactively identify and suggest potential product updates and improvements based on new iOS features
- Collaborate with Android developers by working alongside them on solutions which cross both platforms
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- 2+ years experience as an iOS developer
- Proficient with Swift 5
- Proficient with Cocoa Touch framework
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, etc
- Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning and memory tuning using Instruments
- Experience with programmatically creating user interfaces strongly desired
- Familiarity consuming RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Familiar with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
- Experience with continuous integration
