What you will do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of engineering projects.
How you will do itAssist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components
Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
Support project delivery by performing calculations, simulations, and analysis
Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities
Troubleshoot electrical issues and support maintenance activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations
Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and project documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within engineering processes
What we look for
Valid Work Permit/Right to Work in Ireland is essential
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
Familiarity with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Dialux, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar)
Basic knowledge of electrical systems such as power distribution, control panels, or instrumentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills

Time management and organisation
Initiative and eagerness to learn
Adaptability and flexibility
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines
Internship or placement experience in an engineering environment
