Junior Controller - VIE Contract

  • Target start date: 01/07/2025

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

As Junior Controller VIE in our Finance team you will gain a wide experience in a controlling and data analytics role in country affiliate, in a multinational environment. Working in a small dynamic team, this position will provide controlling and data analytics support to the largest Business unit. You will work closely with the Finance Business Partner and Site Finance lead.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist the FBP (Finance Business Partner) in the preparation and analysis of the monthly management accounts, including journal posting, variance analysis.
  • Responsible for stock accounting and reconciliation.
  • Responsible for monthly sales reporting and price volume analysis.
  • Assist in the annual budgets and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Ad Hoc project work.

About you

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a controlling role, SAP or TM1 would be essential.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work with data.
  • Ability to break down complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Critical thinking for identifying financial trends and patterns.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in business, accounting or similar field.

Languages:

  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
