About the roleWe are looking for a Junior Accountant who will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, monthly close, and assisting the team with ad-hoc projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPost and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and perform reconciliations.
Enter data and maintain records.
Perform other tasks to assist the team such as processing payments, reviewing expenses, and processing invoices.
Assist the Supervisor Accountant in the preparation of monthly closings.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or similar.
1-3 years of experience.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
Analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a remote setting.
Experience with Sage Intacct.
