Team overview and job responsibilities
The High Voltage Division of Prysmian Italy is looking for a Project Manager based in Milano, in the HQ of the Company.
You will report directly to the Business Director. The candidate will be assigned to both supply only and EPCI projects delivered to our Customers.
The role:
You will be the main interface with the Customer and Customer Project Team.
You will initiate, plan, execute, finalize and monitor & control the project in accordance with the customer’s contractual terms and specification, within the agreed timescales and budget, this includes coordinating the project team as well as any third-party contractors or consultants.
The Project Manager is also responsible for defining clear project objectives, building the project requirements and managing the constraints in terms of costs, time, scope and quality.
You will direct and manage all aspects of multi-discipline projects from initiation through completion
Define and control baseline scope, programme and allowances in line with the change management procedures
You will manage the progress the Project activities in close coordination with the engineering and installation disciplines
Establish a budget; monitor the costs against the budget, manage claim and variations to achieve CM targets
Yoi will ensure the correct allocation of the resources necessary for carrying on and completing the project
Key requirements
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the oil & gas, energy sector of a multinational company and in EPCI Projects
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or similar related Degrees with a PMP certification
• Fluency in English
• Strong negotiation skills, team working abilities and excellent leadership and influencing skills
• Attitude to deeply understand the scope and technical aspects of the project together with the traditional PM skills
• Flexible mindset and able to work in a very dynamic context
• Good communication skills
• Very strong analytical skills
