Volkswagen Group Ireland is recruiting for a highly experienced IT professional with over 3 years of expertise in administrating and supporting complex infrastructure and applications across multiple brands within VWGI. Proven track record in delivering exceptional in-house and external support, optimizing IT operations, and driving successful project rollouts in collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Expert in setup and administration of virtual servers, ensuring robust and efficient operations.
- System Monitoring: Proficient in monitoring and managing both local and cloud-based infrastructure to maintain optimal performance.
- Active Directory Administration: Skilled in managing Active Directory, ensuring secure and streamlined user access.
- Vulnerability Management: Adept at identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities through timely upgrades and fixes.
- Windows Client Deployments: Extensive experience in deploying Windows clients using SCCM, enhancing system reliability.
- Office365 Optimization: Specialized in optimizing Office365 usage to improve organizational productivity.
- Network Support: Providing advanced support to dealer networks for seamless connectivity to VGIE WAN.
- Issue Resolution: Expert in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, escalating unresolved problems to higher-level support teams.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborating with head office in Wolfsburg and local partners to plan and execute new IT projects, requiring occasional travel.
Technical Expertise:
- Operating Systems: Advanced proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server and client operating systems.
- Imaging: Skilled in SCCM for efficient system imaging and deployment.
- Networking: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPNs for robust network management.
- Virtualization: Expertise in VMware for effective virtualization solutions.
- Security: Proficient in Trellix Antivirus for comprehensive security management.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experienced in Veeam for reliable backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hardware: Competent in installation and configuration of virtual servers and storage solutions.
