Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated IT Engineer to join the Genesys Identity and Access Management team. This role will support IAM systems and processes including SSO, IGA, and access control mechanisms across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is early in their career, eager to grow, and has foundational experience with IAM tools such as Ping Identity, Okta, and Active Directory.
Location: For this position, we are open to candidates who wish to work hybrid from our office in Galway city, or virtual within Ireland.
Please note: This role includes access to EU Sovereign Cloud-controlled systems; access is restricted to personnel who meet EU Sovereign Cloud eligibility requirements (EU citizen or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with configuring and maintaining IAM systems including SSO and IGA platforms (Okta, Ping Identity, Active Directory).
Support day-to-day IAM operations such as user provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, and authentication workflows.
Monitor identity events and system access logs, escalate anomalies as needed.
Support the joiner, mover, leaver (JML) process lifecycle and associated documentation.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and interpret IAM-related requirements.
Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) and support functional testing activities.
Help maintain internal documentation and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Follow organizational security standards and support compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
Requires a relevant degree (NFQ Level 8 or higher) and typically 1–3 years of experience, or equivalent professional experience.
1–3 years of experience in IAM, IT security, or access-related technical support.
Exposure to IAM platforms such as Okta and Ping Identity.
Basic understanding of identity lifecycle processes and authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth).
Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence).
Strong willingness to learn and evolve with the team.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Ability to work across international teams.
This role may occasionally require flexibility in working hours, including attending meetings outside standard business hours or providing on-call support when necessary.
